Topoware is an interesting concept from two amazing artists, Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino and Karola Torkos. It is tableware that took inspiration from geography as the media of communication. Topographic maps were the inspiration for this creative duo to create tableware that questions the landscape of dining by creating two-dimensional heights in the dining experience.
The collection has plates, bowls, placemats, tablecloths, and cups that are creating a completely different dining experience. Lines and levels in the plates and bowls are helping your dish to communicate with you. They can tell you by the portion of the food that you took are you hungry, very hungry or done, or are you being greedy or you have a child portion.
